William Bell

William A. Bell Sr, Age 91, passed away on November 29, 2018 in Chandler, AZ. William was born in Bessemer, AL to Randolph Bell Sr. and Essie Bell (Hudson) on March 5, 1927, before moving, at age 5, to his beloved Cleveland, OH where he grew up and attended school. He joined the United States Navy at the age of 17 and served in World War II, then enlisted in the Army and fought in the Korean War, earning many medals and honors. William enjoyed music, dancing, but most of all, enjoyed being with his family. William moved to Chandler, AZ in October of 2016 and enjoyed traveling with his son, Kevin and family. William is survived by his son, Kevin Bell, wife and caregiver Susan, their children, Mia and Max Bell of Chandler, AZ, Lauren Bell, Keisha Sweeney, husband, Clifton, children Lailie and Kai, of Cleveland, OH and Stacia Canciliere and husband Dom and their children Camerin, Noah, Gabriel, and Evan of Largo, FL, daugter Cheryl McArthur, husband, Vic and son Jason, William A. Bell Jr., wife Marlaine and children William A. Bell III, Kecia, Brian, and their children of Cleveland. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his parents, sister Juanita “Nit” Duvall, and grandson Dwayne Bell. The family would like to say a special THANK YOU to Hospice of the Valley and Pops nurses, Lesley and Yolanda and Chaplain Ken. William will travel to be buried in Cleveland, OH.
