William Paul Chavez went to be with his wife Judith in Heaven on January 14, 2022. He was born on March 27, 1943, in Monte Vista, Colorado to Joe Chavez and Mary Duran. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Judith Chavez; great grandsons Christopher and Nehemiah Chavez. He is survived by his children Bill, Ruthie, Johnny, and Petey Chavez; siblings Joan Armine, Pat Chavez, Benny Chavez, Jody Chavez, and Georgia Cruz; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. William loved fishing, cars, and motorcycles. His family described him as very loving, caring, and sometimes stubborn. He always had a smile on his face. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Everyone is encouraged to wear the color blue on the day of his service.
