William Fisher
August 12th, 1921 - July 16th, 2015
William J. Fisher of Littleton, CO. (formerly of Bayview, NC.) passed away on July 16, 2015. He is survived by his wife Martha Fisher, son Chris Fisher of Danbury, CT., son Paul Fisher of Littleton, CO., 6 grandchildren – Amanda Kolega; Adam Fisher; Katie Sigler; Andrew Fisher; Matthew Fisher; Sarah Fisher, and 10 great-grandchildren. William “Bill” was born in Greenwich, CT on August 12, 1921. He He served in the Army Air Corps from 1943 through 1946. He was a decorated fighter pilot of the 45th Fighter Squadron serving in the Pacific during that time. He was a member of the reserves following his war service. Following his service, he was self-employed in the Stamford, CT area before retiring with his wife to Bayview, NC. where they lived until 2013. He and his wife enjoyed traveling, golf, “puttering”, and spending time with family. Private services will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetary.
