AUBURNDALE - William F. Harder, Jr., 86, of Haines City died Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in Auburndale. He was born August 28, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan to William and Geraldine (Smithee) Harder. He moved to the local area from Sterling Heights, Michigan 20 years ago. Mr. Harder was a veteran of the Army Air Corps, Lifetime member of The Veterans of Foreign Wars and The American Legion, and worked as a lithographer/printer. He was Lutheran by faith. He was predeceased by his parents; son James Schoener; daughter Jacalyn McGee; and 5 brothers. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Beverly Harder; sons John Schoener and Scott Harder; daughters Linda Lewis, Jo Harder, Debra Ellison and Janice Wemple; sisters Marty Caldrone, Nancy Harbourne, Alice Wenson and Pete Ross; and countless grand and great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Michigan. Oak Ridge Funeral Care Haines City.
