William "Walker" Jeter

William "Walker" Jeter of Polk City, Florida passed away on February 23, 2017 while in Georgia. He was 58. He was born on February 1, 1959 in Red Level, Alabama to Willard and Delma Castleberry Jeter and moved to Polk City some 25 years ago from Haines City, Florida. Walker was a truck driver and he grew up attending Landmark Baptist Church in Haines City. While he wasn't working he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and going hunting and fishing. He is predeceased by his parents and he is survived by his children, Cefn Jeter and his wife, Julie of Polk City, Cayce Swartz and her husband, David of Marietta, OH and their mother, Martha Martin of Marietta, OH; sister, Elizabeth Jeter of Davenport, FL; brother, Rickey Jeter of Davenport, FL; grandchildren, Jadenn Jeter, Cali and David Swartz. A visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 10:00 am until the funeral at 11:00 am at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City with Dr. Mickey Carter of Landmark Baptist Church officiating. Final resting place will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
