William (Billy) Dennis Rivett, 67 (9/20/1948-2/1/2016), of Longmont Colorado passed away at TRU Hospice after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Long Beach, California to Robert and June Rivett; attended Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach and his first forty years on the Southern California Coast. Surfing and Hot Rods became lifelong passions. Bill started his career as a hair stylist in his early twenties. After moving to Colorado in his forties, Bill found a new passion in fly fishing; teaching, writing magazine articles and earning at least two World Records in the sport. He continues to be loved and will be mourned by family, friends, clients, surfing and fishing buddies. William Rivett is survived by his daughter; Teri Delacerna. Grandchildren; Brandon Michael and Carly Jean Noelani. Great-Grandchildren; Alyssa Kiana and Celeste Isabella Nohealani. Celebration of Life Memorial to be held 12:00pm February 20, 2016 at Nissi's 2675 Northpark Dr. Lafayette, CO 80027; 855-442-7040 or 303-665-2757.
