William "Bill" John Stoddard
May 24th, 1955 - January 30th, 2020
William "Bill" Stoddard, occasionally known as Mud, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, surrounded by family on January 30, 2020. He dedicated his life to caring for others, both professionally as an RN, and as a father and friend. In his free time he enjoyed terrorizing fish, gardening, playing card and computer games, cooking, hiking (usually in flip-flops, much to his daughter's chagrin), wood working, and telling wonderfully terrible dad jokes. He is survived by his favorite (biological) daughter, Katie, her husband, Peter, and their furry children, Bear and Aspen; his other favorite (nonbiological) daughter, Melissa; his incredibly patient girlfriend, Ingrid, and her two sons, Cameron and Jack; his brother, Phil; and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, coworkers, and friends who all cared deeply for him. In lieu of flowers and plants (which his biological daughter will probably just kill anyway since she inherited none of his gardening skills), please send donations to the Salvation Army, the Springs Rescue Mission, or the American Stroke Association.
