William Howard Windsor
November 3rd, 1943 - March 7th, 2024
William “Bill” Windsor, 80, of Colorado Springs , Colorado, passed away peacefully March 7, 2024.
He was born in November 1943 to Searcy and Lily Windsor in Texas. Bill graduated from Irving High School in 1961 and completed his Bachelor of Business Administration at University of Texas at Arlington. He received his CPA after years leading AAFES support for multiple military establishments and went on to work as an entrepreneur owning businesses in oil and gas, real estate and computer corporations for more than forty years.
Bill was a loving husband for 60 years to his surviving wife, Karen. He was a strong and caring father to his three children, Elizabeth, Phillip and Richard, devoted grandfather to his grandchildren Jonathan, Hailee, Jessica, Nathan, and Sophia, and a doting great-grandfather to his great-granddaughter Adira. He will be greatly missed by us all.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Searcy and Lily Windsor.
Bill is survived by his children, Richard and Tanya Windsor, Phil and Kim Windsor, and Beth and Lauren Daly and grandchildren, Jonathan and Bre Windsor, Hailee and Ryan Hernandez, Jessica Daly, Nathan Daly, and Sophia Windsor; and great-granddaughter, Adira.
In lieu of flowers, the family politely asks for memorial contributions to be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation, www.alzfdn.org to help combat this horrible disease that afflicted him in the final years of his life.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Gardens of ViewPointe who so lovingly cared for Bill through the last several years of his Alzheimer's condition.
