Xander Michael Greene
May 2nd, 2007 - January 9th, 2023
We are immensely saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Xander Michael Greene. Our boy left this earth on January 9, 2023, at the age of 15. Born on May 2, 2007 in Colorado Springs, Colorado at Memorial Central Hospital, Xander was a boisterous boy from the day he was born. Xander was humorous, kind, gentle, bold, loving, and fearless. Baseball, football, basketball, carpentry with his family, and relentlessly teasing his sister as well as other family members, were some of his passions. He was completely fascinated with superheroes, football cards, and sharing random facts with others. Among his many amazing traits, Xander possessed a razor-sharp sense of humor that could captivate an audience, and was a master at judging when the air in the room needed to be lighter. His goofiness, silly smile, infectious laugh, and his love for all things sugary, were just a few of his beautiful qualities. Xander was such a loving person. He frequently spoke the words "I love you," and his sincerity was never in question. Xander's life was cut short, but the impression he left on the lives of others will never be forgotten. He will live in the memories of his family and friends forever. Xander will be missed more than words could ever describe. Xander has a large group of friends and family who loved him unconditionally. Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Andrew Greene of Colorado Springs, Colorado; step-mother, Kenzi Greene of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister, Emmabelle Greene of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandparents, Colen and Debra Greene of Creston, Iowa; Cory and Paula Krawczyk of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Kenneth and Staci Wroblewski of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Carl Gauntt of Belen, New Mexico; aunt, Amber (Mark) Aspengren of Jefferson, Iowa; uncle, Aaron Greene of Austin, Texas; aunt, Samantha Gauntt of Colorado Springs, Colorado; aunt, Courtney Hawkins (Tyler Caughman) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; uncle, Brandon Duckworth (Kaylin Brooks) of Laramie, Wyoming; uncle, Tyler Duckworth of Brighton, Colorado; uncle, Tyler Lowe of Colorado Springs, Colorado; uncle, David Lummis of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and a host of cousins, additional friends, and family.
