Yvette Terrell
June 20th, 1964 - March 15th, 2022
Yvette (Fisher) Terrell age 57 of Saint Paul, passed away on March15, 2022. She was born on June 20, 1964, to the union of Jessie Mae (Burnett) Fisher and Robert Lee Fisher in Chicago, Il. She was the oldest of 5 children. Yvette attended St. Columbanus elementary and Unity high school. She met her life partner, Otis James Terrell in 1983. According to Otis, it was love at first sight!! He fell in love with her dreamy eyes. They shared an unbreakable bond that was tested many times in the 39 years they shared. Yvette & Otis married August 13, 1985. They relocated the family to St. Paul, MN in 1986, where she now calls home. She is the proud mother of five. While Yvette primarily worked in the labor and hospitality industry, her true calling was fashion and design, making clothing, & costumes at an early age. She was a lover of the arts; she drew, painted, loved music and dance. She was never afraid of hard work and had the physical strength to match. Her petite frame could not contain her gregarious, magnetic & vibrant spirit. She took pride in being of service. She was always generous with her time, money, and talents. Yvette was a fun-loving character who always had a good word to say about everybody. She always said, âif you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all'. Yvette was preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Fisher; father, Robert Fisher; and grandson, Markell Dillard. She leaves behind her husband, Otis Terrell; daughters, Rashida Fisher, Fatima Fisher Womack, & Keenyada Shantinee Terrell Dillard; sons, Bedale Terrell & James Terrell; three stepsons, Otis, Larnell, & Cortney; siblings, Lynette, Marquette, Paulette, & Malika; 10 grandchildren; and a host of step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
