Zachary Patrick Romero
June 7th, 1998 - February 3rd, 2023
On June 7th, 1998 5 pounds and 13.5 ounces of happiness was brought into this world. Born to Alicia Gonzales and Patrick Romero was a blonde haired, soft gray eyed baby boy named Zachary Patrick Romero. Loved by all and needed by many, Zachary was called home on February 3, 2023 by our Father. At only 24 years old, he was a proud homeowner, working full time as "The MailMan". To Zachary it was never about the title, job, or the money, it was always about the fulfillment of life because he took pride in everything he did. From the moment he was born, Zachary was a ball of light. It's nearly impossible to find a picture of him frowning because no matter the circumstances, he was always grinning from ear to ear. His smile was contagious;his laugh was unforgettable, and his mere presence was a breath of fresh air. He touched the hearts of everyone he came in contact with. Zachary's energy was electric, and so was his taste in music. He loved everything from rap, to smooth jazz. Some of his favorites were Joey Bada$$ and Jimi Hendrix, and if you've ever caught one of his live debuts of "I can ride my bike with no handlebars" by the Flo Bots you were blessed. He had a wide variety of interests and loved watching Anime, The Office, Trailer Park Boys, and all kinds of other cartoons. He was such a big teddy bear. Don't get me wrong he was a grown man, but he remained a child at heart. Zachary was spontaneous, and was truly an on the spot type of guy who knew how to live in the moment. Whether it was a concert in Miami or a trip to the movies, he was ready to go. He was even planning a 30 day backpacking trip through Europe. He was a true free spirit who embraced all things that life had to offer. There wasn't anything he wouldn't try especially when it came to food. Except Tomatoes he hated tomatoes. His favorite was Mr.Kim's all you can eat Korean BBQ and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. There was no denying food was his love language. From perfecting grill lines on his steaks, to recreating Disney recipes like ratatouille, Zach poured his heart into every dish. He was a master chef who wanted to share his love of food with the world. He found the most satisfaction sharing a meal with his loved ones. Zachary was a genius; his intellect was on a whole nother level. He explored and pursued every interest with a passion. His mind was inquisitive and he could truly do anything he thought up. He shared his interests with everyone, and even when you didn't understand he spoke to you like you were the smartest person in the room. He had the biggest heart and truly understood what it meant to love without conditions. His love had no limits and he made it a point to build unique and personal relationships with everyone. Experiencing a love as pure as Zach's was a gift; one some people never get to experience. He was resilient and exuded such an immense positive energy and Zach's energy will always be remembered. Zachary was truly one of a kind and will forever be known as an honorable young man who exemplified courage, compassion and loyalty. Carrying on his personal legacy is his mother, Alicia Gonzales; his sisters Aaliyah Romero, Natalie Gonzales, Shelly and Danelle Pineda; his brothers Milo Gonzales, Damien Romero, David, and Daniel Pineda; his nieces Liyla Gonzales, Leinani Ruiz, Nevaeh Gonzales, Isabella Ruiz, Audriauna, and Jaelynn Pineda; his nephews Zayne Gonzales, Logan Gonzales, and Gregory Sandoval; his girlfriend Cassidy Waller and Daniel Pineda Sr. He is living in paradise with his father Patrick Romero and his uncles Eric Gonzales, and Ben CdeBaca.
