Arthur Davis, Jr. laid down his working tools on December 10, 2023 and passed away peacefully at Puget Sound Transitional Care. He was the eldest of five children, born to the union of Arthur and Annie Murray Davis, in Montgomery, AL on July 16, 1928. Arthur accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of St. James Baptist Church#2. He joined the Army and after serving moved to Seattle, WA where he joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was ordained a deacon. Arthur worked for the US Postal Service and was a General Contractor. Of all the accomplishments he would want to be remembered for his membership to Prince Hall Olympus#45 and his status as PM Arthur Davis, Jr 33°. He truly loved spending time with his brothers and helping promote awareness of freemasonry. He leaves to cherish his memory, his brother David L. Davis; sister Carrie L. Jackson both of Montgomery, AL, a host of nieces, nephews, friends and Masonic brothers. Masonic burial rights at Becks Tribute Center on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 11:00am followed by interment at Evergreen Walsheli Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to David L.
