Jessie Ruth Hopkins-Kesner, 92, of , West Columbia passed away peacefully June 22, 2015. She was born in East Stone Gap , Virginia to the late Vera and Troy Gilley. Jessie graduated East Stone Gap High School. Most of her life she enjoyed tending to her home and spending time with family. She was a seamstress her entire life. She also enjoyed doing crafts with her family as well as herself. She also enjoyed making dolls. She will be missed by many. She is survived by her loving son, Wayne Kesner and his wife Carolyn of West Columbia and her grandson Michael Kesner of Gilbert. She is also survived by sister Martha Orndoff of Talbott, TN and her brothers Everett Gilley of Chattanooga, TN and Buddy Gilley of Whitter, CA., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband's Charles William (Bill) Kesner and Charles Hopkins and her daughter in law Jean Kesner. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 5-6PM Funeral services will be held at 6PM in the chapel. Interment will be at Glenwood Cemetery in Bristol, TN on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 2PM . Family and friends may sign the online guest book at www.thompsonsfuneral.com
