Toni Lee Gordon was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on July 2, 1949, and died peacefully at home on February 15, 2011, at the age of 61. Toni went to Heaven to join her father Logan Dane Poppino, step-father Charles Curtis Patton, mother Gussie Mae Patton and brother Fred Logan Patton. She is survived by her husband of 36 years David L. Gordon, sons Scott M. Gordon and Timothy M. Gordon, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers- and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. She energetically fought cancer for 11 1/2 years, smiling the whole time, praising God and telling everyone around her about Him until the very end. Her constant glow and humble graciousness made her instant friends wherever she went. She will be greatly missed by all including her co-workers at and the children in the Puyallup School District. Donations in her name may be made to the "Susan G. Komen for the cure" breast cancer foundation. Viewing will be on Tuesday February 22nd from 4-8 pm at the Curnow Funeral Home in Sumner. The burial will be at the Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup on Wednesday February 23rd at 3pm. The memorial service will be held Sunday February 27th at 3pm at Bethany Baptist Church in Puyallup, 713 South Hill Park Drive. (253)-848-3556
