Phyllis Ileen Roberts

Phyllis Roberts, 74, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2015 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. She was a member of Church Hill First United Methodist Church and was involved in the Sisters in Spirit Bible study class. Phyllis was also a Sunday school teacher for several years. She was a volunteer with the CASA program. Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years James Roberts; parents, Roy and Estalee Morelock. Survivors include her son Kevin Adams and wife Darlene; daughters, Becky Adams, Lisa Bennett and husband Dale; Grandchildren, Julie McCoy, Rachael Wilson, and Courtney Bennett Jones; several special grandchildren and great grandchildren; spiritual brother Randall Booher. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 5pm to 7pm at Carter-Trent Funeral home downtown Kingsport. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Josh Kilbourne officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Church Hill First United Methodist Church at P.O.
