Ned Davis Campbell
January 24th, 1931 - July 1st, 2007
Ned Davis Campbell, 76, born on January 24, 1931 in Preston, ID. to Sidney and Maude (Davis) Campbell passed away on July 1, 2007 in Seattle. Ned was a longtime resident of King County and Washington State having retired from Boeing in 1989 where he worked as an Administration and Training Manager and as a Material Manager. He later taught Management and Development at Clover Park Technical College in Tacoma for four years. In 1990 he began working for Price Helton Funeral Chapel and for Powers Funeral Home from 1995-2002. In 2003 he was the second employee hired to help start the Curnow Funeral Home in Sumner. He was a life member of the Boeing Management Association and the Chief Seattle Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Ned enjoyed “RVing” and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Carol (CJ) Campbell; Daughters, Susan Headley, Shannon McCammant, Karen Fickes, Robin Fisk; Sons, Brian Campbell, Paul Campbell, Cameron Campbell, Ross Campbell; Step-Children, Brenda Van Eaton, Bret Kaiser, Brian Kaiser; Brothers and Sisters, Reid Campbell, Janice Sanders, Dick Campbell, Betty McKee, Bruce Campbell, Kathleen Barrett, Craig Campbell, Elaine Smith, Scott Campbell. 28 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and expecting his first great-great grandchild. Viewing will begin at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 6, followed by a Funeral Service at 1 p.m. both at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1820 F St. S.E. in Auburn. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Burial Park in Kent. Arrangements by Curnow Funeral Home & Cremation Service. (253) 863-2800.
