Freddy Leon Clark passed away on October 2, 2011 in Puyallup, WA. Freddy was born in Bartlesville, OK and grew up in nearby Dewey. He was a gifted, gregarious student who participated in athletics, clubs and student government. He earned a master's degree in mathematics from Oklahoma State University, as well as an MBA from Loyola University in Chicago. He founded a lifelong career in the burgeoning field of data processing that ultimately brought his family to Puyallup in 1981. Throughout the years, Freddy also taught night classes in computer programming at Pierce College. An avid bowler, baseball fan, U.S. history enthusiast, and supporter of the military, Freddy will be forever remembered for his brilliant mind, quick wit, imaginative spirit, and loyalty. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda Clark. His sister, Elaine Wolcott, resides in Foley, AL. His children include son Alan Clark (San Diego), daughter Courtney Griffith (Grafenwoehr, Germany), son Brent Saunders (Seattle), daughter Danielle Clark (San Francisco), daughter Molly Clark (Bremerton, WA), daughter Allison Saunders (Los Angeles), and son Andrew Clark (Dewey, OK), and 11 grandchildren. He also leaves behind his canine children, Ivy and Mookie. Donations can be made in his memory to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital at www.stjude.org/donate or 800-805-5856.
