Dale “Red” White, of Redmond, Washington died Monday, November 14, 2011 in Overlake Hospital after a courageous four year battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was 65 years old. Born in St. Paul Minnesota, December 14, 1945, to Howard "Sam" and Shirley White, he lived most of his life in the Spokane and Seattle areas. Survived by his wife of 36 years, Karen; sons, Don (Rhiannon), Joe (Anna); daughters, Amanda (Colin), Kristi (Jake); sisters, Dee Dee (Pat), Diana, Dawn (Steve); brothers, Dave (Sue), Sam (Sharon); mother-in-law, Marian; and the five Pfaulinski sisters! He was the adored 'Papa' to his beloved grandchildren, Gavin, Madeline, Haiden, Jakey and Ellie D. He had many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. At his request, there will be no service, while a celebration of his life will be planned at a later date.
