Einer (Tom) Thomsen 1931 - 2012 passed away on April 28th. Tom retired from the Franklin Pierce School District following 29 years as a teacher and counselor. He then worked for Federal Express and at the Puyallup Fair, and finally as "Santa" for Arthur and Associates and Nordstrom's for the past 17 years. Tom was serving in the USAF 1951-1954 when he married his wife, Deloris McLane of Sequim, on January 3, 1953. Tom is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dee, and their sons Scott and Mark, grandchildren Savannah, Dustin and Blake, and two great-grandchildren. Tom's parents Aage and Ida preceded him in death. Tom will be interred at Tahoma Memorial Cemetery, and a Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9th, 2012 at Summit United Methodist Church, 104th St. and Canyon Rd., Tacoma. The family requests donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , Seattle, WA in his memory. Arrangements by Curnow Funeral Home & Cremation Service 863-2800
