Marlene Krainson Webster Pratt
December 28th, 1935 - October 21st, 2007
Marlene Krainson Webster Pratt, 71, passed away on October 21, 2007 from complications following a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 28, 1935 in Flushing, New York to Albert Krainson and Anna Slonus Krainson. Marlene lived in many locations throughout her exciting life including Florida, Utah, Alaska, Oregon and Washington. She was a world traveler and enjoyed sharing her many adventures with friends and family. A highly skilled and gracious hostess, Marlene retired in 2005 from 20 years of charter yachting in Southeast Alaska. She also owned a jewelry business on Mercer Island, WA and worked at Hill Air Force Base in Utah while raising her two sons. She has been a stellar example of strength and determination, a legacy we will carry on. Marlene is survived by her loving sons Randy Webster of Puyallup, WA and Bret Webster of Bountiful, UT, their wives Amy and RaNae, her husband of 27 years Captain Ted Pratt, Ft. Walton Beach FL; stepchildren Kelly and Mike Frick, Lake Stevens WA; Lara and Travis Tiede, Minneapolis, MN plus ten wonderful grandchildren Karen, Amber, Wilson, Jenna, Jake, Emily, Maguire, Jared, Jackson, Riley and many devoted friends whom she cherished. We will miss her loving hand and caring guidance. Viewing will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday Oct. 25 followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at the Sumner United Methodist Church, 901 Wood Ave. Interment to follow at Woodbine Cemetery.
