James Prizmich
March 21st, 1947 - March 15th, 2017
Jim passed away March 15, 2017 at Porter Hospice, surrounded by “his girls”. We believe he then put on his cleats and headed for the nearest baseball diamond, as that was his idea of Heaven. He leaves behind family and friends that will miss his sense of humor, and his passion for the people and things he cared about. Jim was predeceased by his parents, George and Eileen Prizmich, and “Mom and Pop” – Jay and Norma Hathaway, who treated him as though he was one of their own. He is survived by Robyn, his wife of 39 years. Sons: Dennis (Lori) of Davis, California, Doug of Sacramento, California and David (Lauren) Prizmich of West Sacramento, California. Daughters: Jaimi (Kirk) Herring and Kaitlin (DJ) Prizmich both of Elizabeth, Colorado. Grandchildren: Chad and Haven, Heather and Leah, Andrew and Abigail, and Aiden and Abby. His family would like to express appreciation for the compassionate care he received at Porter Hospice.
