Betty graduated from Springfield High School in 1945. She married Armand Ralph Raymond on August 6, 1950. She bore her son Dan on March 27, 1951 and Marc on May 28, 1952. From 1962 to 1972 she worked at Colorado Women’s College as a Key Punch Operator. Then from 1972 to 1995 in the unemployment tax office of the State of Colorado. Betty enjoyed traveling, playing competitive bridge and became a life master in 2011. Betty kept active by joining Silver Sneekers where she especially enjoyed swimming with a group of very special ladies. Betty’s passion for knitting and crocheting was evident by the many blankets, footies, sweaters and scarves she gave to friends and relatives over her many blessed years. Betty is preceded indeath by her parents Nellie Rose Simon and Harvey Simon and her siblings Bill, Elwood, Fred and Ann. She is survived by her husband, Armand Raymond and her son Dan Raymond his wife Mary and son Marc Raymond; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren and also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
