January 23rd, 1921 - July 13th, 2006
Marian Duffy Snyder, 85, of Venice, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2006. She was born January 23, 1921 in Erie, PA. She moved to this area 27 years ago from Elmhurst, IL. Mrs. Snyder was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church; a graduate of Edinboro University; a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority, Delta Kappa Gamma and the Lady’s of the Venice Shrine. Mrs. Snyder taught special education in Pennsylvania & Illinois. She later became an Administrator in the Tri-County School Systems in Central Illinois. Mrs. Snyder is survived by her two sons W. Russell Snyder of Nokomis & Gary Snyder of Venice; daughter Kathleen Leith of West Palm Beach, FL; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 15th, 3:00 PM at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Venice, FL. Memorial Donations may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church, 4365 State Road 776, Venice, FL 34293.
