All-States Cremation - Wheat Ridge
Deloris Bogart
November 28th, 1945 - December 31st, 2009
Deloris was born in Goodland, KS, the last of 5 children born to Harold and Clela Charles on November 25, 1945. She was the first of the family to be born in the hospital, but quikcly moved to her Grandma McClug’s home for after care. Betty, Lloyd, Ruth, and Rosie were home to welcome her. The family lived in Goodland until moving west of Limon, CO when she was eight. She attended school in Matheson then transferred to Agate. Then, missing her oldest sister, she moved to Eagle Mountain, CO for her sophomore year of high school, and then back to Limon High School in 1964 to graduate. She then completed Business Class at Parks Business School. While working at the Frontier restaurant she met Bert Bogart and they were married Dec. 1, 1968. After living in Flagler for 2 months, they moved to the Denver area where Deloris continued to work in restaurants, cafes, and retail stores. Her favorite job was at Babies R Us working in the Baby Registry. While living in Commerce City their 2 sons were born, Steven in 1970 and David in 1974. Shortly after David was born Deloris took the boys and moved to the mountains to be with Bert who was working in construction. When the job was completed they moved to Bennet to stay with Bert’s brother. While living there they came across a mobile home for sale that fit their family to a tee. Deloris, Bert, and the boys moved to Broomfield and lived there while the boys grew up. Steven married Amy in 1991. Thier first child was born in 2002 and second in 2006. It was time for Bert and Deloris to start thinking about retirement and they wanted to go back to where their life began. They purchased a house and moved back to Flagler in 2002. Deloris had many hobbies including Bingo, fishing, reading, listening to music and her granddaughters. She loved spending time with them and buying them clothes. She loved old country music, one of her favorite artists was Charlie Pride and she loved Kiss an Angel Good Morning. Posted by All States Cremation
