Robert "Bob" Dale Lyons

Bob left this life on Sunday, July 9, 2023 after battling esophageal cancer. He is at peace and no longer in pain. He was born in Oxford, Michigan to Helen Lenore Harris Lyons and Vernon Alfred Lyons. After moving to Florida he worked for the Manatee County Utilities Department, Sewer Collections Section for 35 years. He retired in 2009. He is predeceased by his Mother, Helen Lenore Harris Lyons and his Father, Vernon Alfred Lyons. He leaves behind his wife, Marilyn J. Lyons; his Daughter, Robin Lyons; his Step-Daughter, Christine J. Bronson (Scott); his Step-Son, Buddy A. Travis; His Step-Grandson; Wesley D. Mansfield; his three Step-Granddaughters, Sierra J. Sevigny, Leila A. Travis, Olivia F. Travis; his Nephew, Jeff Pender (LouAnn Brekhus); his Niece, Lori Pender; his Great Niece, Rebecca Queen (Rod); his Great Nephew, Philip Pender (Christina); and his two Great Great Nieces, Addison Queen; and Michelle Pender. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 11:00am at Venice Memorial Gardens, 1950 Center Road Venice, FL 34292, where his cremated remains will be interred next to his Mother and Father.
