Lambertus "Bud" Rotramel

Rotramel, Lambertus LaVerne “BUD,” who was born on May 25, 1929 in Oregon, IL has ended his earthly journey on September 25th. He has now joined his beloved wife, Jane Fredonia Cleaver Rotramel. He was the loving father of Cynthia “Beth” Brandstetter, Parker, CO, Grant C. Rotramel, Wheat Ridge, CO, David C. Rotramel, Lee’s Summit, MO, and John K. Rotramel of Charlotte, NC. He was the adoring “Poppy” of John, Laura, Logan, and “Cole.” He also leaves behind a sister, Inez Yvonne “Bonnie” Holtz of Pensacola, FL, a sister-in-law, Mary “Peach” Cleaver, a mother-in-law, Josephine M. Cleaver both of Dixon, IL, Vicki Stambuk, a niece of Mobile, AL, Julie and Doug Holtz, a niece and nephew of Pensacola, FL, and his special caregiver, Kathie W. Jenkins of Aurora, CO and her children. He will be greatly missed, but his quick wit, wonderful stories and his love of the Lord will live on through those relatives and friends who knew and loved him. He graduated from Oregon High School in Oregon, IL in 1947, and served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant during the occupation following WWII. His career in the printing paper and paperboard industries touched many lives over forty-five years as the job took him to many parts in the U.S. and international boundaries. His last two assignments were Vice-President of Sales at Mid-Continent Paper in Kansas City, MO and Gypsum Paper Sales Manager for Republic Paperboard Company in Alta Loma, CA. He retired from the paper industry in 2003. In honor of his wishes, Mr. Rotramel will be cremated and his cremains will be taken to his family plot in Grand Detour, IL. He also stated that after his passing he would like all his friends and family to go out to enjoy a good meal, a glass of wine, and celebrate life as he did. Posted by All-States Cremation
