Loyce May St. John
December 14th, 1925 - March 5th, 2007
"Palmer- Loyce M. (LaForest) St. John, 81, formerly of Old Warren Rd., passed away March 5, 2007 at Parkview Hospital in Springfield. Born in Palmer on December 14, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Francis G. and Vernice A. (Smith) LaForest. Loyce has lived all of her life in Palmer and previously worked for many years at the former Federal Paper Board in Thorndike. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond A. St. John in 2004 and will be greatly missed by her family, her granddaughter Tracy Gousy and her husband John of Monson, grandson Todd Arsenault and his wife Kim of Warren along with siblings Helen Charrette of Enfield, CT, Claire Kissman of Manchester, CT, Jean Russell and Francis LaForest both of Monson. Loyce is also survived by five great grandchildren, Amanda, Justin, Jessica, Aaron, and Amber along with four brother-in-laws and one sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Loyce was also predeceased by her two children Ann Marie St. John in 1998 and Ronald St. John in 1974. A visitation will be Friday from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home followed by a service of remembrance at 6:00 p.m. For those wishing, donations may be made in her memory to American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd. Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852-9813"
