William J. Kuc

"Chicopee, William J. Kuc, 65, died on Saturday, June 24 at Baystate Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born in Holyoke on March 13, 1952 and was the son of Rudolph Kuc and Sophie Gazda (Malicki). He was raised in South Hadley and moved to Chicopee when he married the love of his life, Patricia A. (Biron) Kuc. Bill was employed for many years at Sonoco Products in Holyoke. He will be long remembered and deeply missed for his culinary abilities, as a man that could fix anything, his knowledge on many subjects but mostly for being a wonderful and loving husband, dad, son, brother and friend. He will be forever missed by his wife of 37 years, Pat, along with their two daughters, Jennifer and Lindsay Kuc. His mother, Sophie of S. Hadley and siblings, Rudolph (Patricia) of S. Hadley, Alice Partanen (Bill) of Maryland and John (Diane) of S. Hadley, stepbrothers, Peter Gazda (Sue) of Chicopee and Michael Gazda (Diane) of FL, along with many brother and sister in laws and nieces and nephews also survive him. Besides his father hisstepbrother, Gus Gazda also predeceased him. A Memorial Mass will be on Friday, June 30th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne's Church in Chicopee, please meet directly at the church.
