"Palmer - Stella C. (Mitus) Davis, 100, passed away February 12, 2011 in Life Care Center in Wilbraham. She was born May 1, 1910 in Ludlow, MA, daughter of Stephen & Caroline (Szczram) Mitus. Stella retired in 1979 as the co-owner of the former Brothers Club in W. Warren. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph J. Davis and a son Richard J. Davis. She is survived by a daughter-in-law Mary Davis of Palmer and a sister Dominica Jarvis of Ludlow. A Funeral Services will be held at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home on Wednesday at 10:00a.m. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. "
