"Chicopee, Brian S. LaBonte, 42, was taken from this life in a tragic roofing accident on Wednesday, November 17 in South Hadley. Born in Holyoke, June 14, 1968, he was the son of George and Deborah LaBonte of Chicopee. Brian has worked as a roofer for TLC Roofing for several years. Among the many things he enjoyed in his leisure were boating and camping with his family and time with his son Nathan. Brian was devoted to his family and friends and will always be remembered for his easy going manner and willingness to help anyone in need. Besides his parents, he will be deeply missed by his wife of 10 years, Roxanne (Derome) LaBonte, his son Nathan, and step children, Michael and Alyssa Pare, along with his sister Cynthia Cousineau and her husband Kevin and their children, K.C., Cameron, Cayley and Kenzie all of Ware. Brian also leaves a granddaughter Avah Pare. A service to remember his life will be on Monday, November 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the Beers and Story South Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St., (Rte. 116). Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a fund to benefit his son Nathan to: Nathan LaBonte c/o Roxanne LaBonte, 81 Reed St., Chicopee, MA 01020.
