Paul F Sheehan
December 27th, 1930 - March 4th, 2017
"Belchertown, Paul F. Sheehan, Jr, 86, died peacefully at home after a brief illness on Saturday, March 4. He was born in Albany, NY on December 27, 1930 and was the son of Paul Sr and Mary (Carr) Sheehan. He was raised and educated in Wilkes-Barre, PA and moved to Ludlow and resided there until 2012. Paul proudly served his country in US Army during the Korean War and was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Paul worked as a Stereotyper for The Wall Street Journal for 35 years before retirement. He was an avid 10 Pin Bowler and was a proud member of the "700" Club. He also enjoyed bird watching and spending time with his family. He will be forever missed by his wife of 63 years, Joan (Ramsey) along with their four children, Suzanne Griffin of Palmer, Robert and his wife Joyce of Chicopee, James of Palmer and Patricia Pinsonnault and her husband Richard of South Hadley. His two grandchildren, Michael Sheehan and wife Sarita and Christina Sheehan , great grandchildren, Ethan and Keira and his sister Ellen Sobol of OH and sister in law Virginia Malachesky and her husband Paul of FL and many nieces and nephews also survive him. Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 9th at 9:45 a.m. at Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St., to process to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Granby, for an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass. Burial will follow in The Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Agawam. Calling hours are on Wednesday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital."
