"Palmer - Leona (Santucci) Brown, 87, passed away June 3, 2014. Born May 23, 1927 in Palmer, she was the daughter of Leopold and Mildred (Vermette) Santucci. Leona lived the majority of her life in Palmer. Leona was predeceased by her husband George in 2009, and will be greatly missed by her children, James and Diane of Belchertown, Brian and Kathleen of Wilbraham, Sue Ann and Wayne Jarvis of Chicopee. She also leaves 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, along with siblings Joan Santucci of Palmer, Thomas Santucci of Ludlow, and Janet Levesque of Monson. Leona was predeceased by her daughter Judith April in 2006, along with her brother Robert Santucci and other brother Alfred Santucci less than a month ago. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home with a Funeral Mass Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St Thomas Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
