"Joseph C. Shyloski, Jr., 41, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 20. Born in Ware, July 28, 1965, he was the son of Kathleen Hiersche of Springfield, and the late Joseph C. Shyloski. Joe grew up in Ludlow and lived in Springfield before returning to Ludlow with his family 10 years ago. He worked in the sign industry for 25 years, most recently for Agnoli Sign in Springfield for 16 years. He was an active member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Ludlow, serving the church in many capacities, including as a liturgist. He was also a member of the National Speleological Society. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Sherry L. Powers, their children Jessica and Emily at home, and his brother Peter Bruschi of New York. Funeral services will be Friday, August 25 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Hubbard St., Ludlow. Burial will be later in the day at Grove Cemetery, Holden. Calling hours are Thursday at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St., (Rte. 202) from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. For those wishing, please make donations in his memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Central New England , 101A First Avenue, Suite 6, Waltham , MA 02451-1115. "
