Thomas R. Brown

"Belchertown - Thomas R. Brown, 27, of Chauncey Walker St., passed away suddenly after an ATV accident on May 24, 2014. He was born March 31, 1987 in Ware, MA, son of Thomas and Nancy (Cook) Brown of Belchertown. He was a lifelong resident of Belchertown and a graduate of Pathfinder Regional High School. Tom worked as a Electrician for Industrial Technical Service in Westfield for 9 years. Tom had many passions, he was an avid outdoorsman, who loved being outside working on his farm, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed, riding on his ATV, motorcycle and snowmobile. Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother Scott Brown of Ludlow. He will also be missed by his paternal grandmother, Maureen Brown, maternal grandparents Richard & Joan Cook all of Belchertown, his girlfriend Melissa Graves of Ludlow, aunts, uncles, cousins and his loyal companion Gunner. Tom's legacy will continue on in others buy the gift of organ and tissue donation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sat., May 31 at 11:00 a.m at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Friday from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Shriner's Hospital, a local Humane Society or a charity of one's choice. "
