Mark W. Blanchard

"Ware, Mark W. Blanchard, 44, of Kelly Road, died on Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Born in Holyoke, August 27, 1965, he was the son of Jean E. (Scagliarini) Blanchard of Wilbraham, and the late Lionel W. Blanchard. He grew up in Agawam, a graduate of its high school. He later lived in Wilbraham, prior to moving to Palmer where he has lived since 1994. A skilled craftsman, he worked for years as a general contractor under the name of M.W. Blanchard Builders. In his leisure he enjoyed fishing and boating, and most especially spending time with his daughter Jessica. Besides his mother, he will be deeply missed by his wife Robin M. (Morin) Blanchard, along with his daughter Jessica, at home. Additionally he leaves a brother Matthew Blanchard and his wife Tracy of Wilbraham, a sister Gina Hansen of S. Daytona, FL, along with his mother in law Sandra (Robare) Morin of Springfield and brother in law Richard Morin of Springfield. He also leaves nephews, Kyle and Christopher Blanchard and Tyler Morin. Calling hours will be Sunday, August 29 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St., (Rte. 20). Friends and family may gather at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. on Monday to process to a Funeral Mass, which will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia's Church in Wilbraham. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. For those wishing, donations may be made in his memory to a Mark Blanchard Memorial Fund for the benefit of Jessica Blanchard, c/o Country Bank. 75 Main St, Ware, MA 01082.
