October 21st, 1980 - August 16th, 2010
"AnthonyBelchertown – Shaun Anthony Wheeler, 29, died Monday, August 16 in Belchertown. Born in Springfield, October 21, 1980, he was the son of Carole (Martineau) Wheeler of Belchertown and Rick A. Wheeler, Sr. of Belchertown. Shaun was a graduate of Belchertown High School and worked for many years in the construction field, most recently for AMC Construction in Stafford Springs, CT. A loving and devoted father, he was also an avid sports fan and loved Nascar. Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother Rick, Jr., a daughter Haley Marie, his girlfriend Alexis Bettro, his stepfather, Robert Lazarz and his brother's partner Anthony Vincent Whelan, along with his grandparents Jeannine and Claude Morin, as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles. Calling hours will be Sunday, August 22 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home followed by a service at 4:00 p.m. For those wishing, please make donations in his memory to Carole Wheeler, for the benefit of a trust fund for his daughter. "
