"Palmer - Kenneth W. Mainville , age 65 , of Flynt St. died surrounded by the love of family on Saturday, December 24 at home. Born May 28, 1951 in Southbridge, he was the son of George E. Mainville and Lillian A. (Castonguay) Mainville. He grew up in Holland and has lived in Palmer for 45 years. Kenneth worked as a carpenter for Brian Clark, doing home repairs and remodeling for many years. An avid sportsman, he also raised show chickens for which he was awarded many trophies. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 32 years, Karen ( Ducey) Mainville, daughter, Sandra Mainville of Bondsville, his precious grandchildren, twins, Nicholas and Kaitlyn Mainville. He also leaves 8 siblings, Donald Mainville of NC, Constance Corriveau of RI, Norman Mainville of AZ, Anne Mainville of HI, Susan Truax of E. Falmouth, Judith and David Mainville of NV, and Paul Mainville of W. Brookfield, along with many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday, December 29, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St. A service to remember his life will be Friday at ??? at the funeral home. Burial will be in the spring in Oak Knoll Cemetery. For those wishing, please make donations online to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation in his memory.
