"Henryville, PA - Deborah A.O. Cote-Giove, 63, passed away on December 21, 2016. She was born September 13, 1953 in Holyoke, MA, daughter of Richard and Theresa (Beaulieu) Cote. She was raised in South Hadley and graduated from South Hadley High School in 1971. She continued her education at Providence School of X-Ray then received a Batchelors Degree in Ultrasound Education from Quinnipiac University. Debbie was a pioneer in the field of ultrasound and worked in New York City for NYMI Associates as a Registered sonographer in 5 modalities for 33 years. She was an active member of the "Ladies Of The Red Hat Society" in The Poconos Mountains of PA. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Giove of Henryville, PA, three stepsons, Thomas, Mark and Justin Giove and step grandchildren. She also leaves a sister, Pamela Hebert and husband Gary of South Hadley, a brother, Robert Cote and wife Melissa Marler of Agawam. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews also survive her. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, December 29th at 11:00 a.m at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St. in Agawam. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dana-Farber Institute of Boston."
