Nicholas Giordano
November 7th, 1931 - March 22nd, 2023
Nicholas Giordano, age 91, of Alexandria, Virginia passed away on March 22, 2023. Nicholas was the second of four children born to Raymond and Filomena Giordano in Newark, New Jersey where he spent his youth. After graduating from high school he enlisted and served four years in the Navy. He then worked his way through college earning a business degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. He developed expertise in warehousing and distribution and had a successful career holding management positions for a number of companies including General Foods, Progresso, and Tropicana. Nicholas was a devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather. He was a relaxed, happy, and well-liked person who never was overwhelmed or stressed by the challenges of life. He was a big sports fan who coached his son’s Little League teams and took his son and grandsons to many Yankees games. He was married for 66 years to his loving wife Janet who passed in 2020. He is survived by his son Nick (Anne), grandchildren Natalie, Nate, and David, his brother Raymond and his sister Rose Weil. Nicholas will be laid to rest at Quantico National Cemetery on Friday, March 31. Memorial donations can be sent to the Alzheimers Association
