Beers and Story - Belchertown
Patricia Sue Kuchta
September 6th, 1950 - December 9th, 2016
"South Hadley - Patricia S. (Tracy) Kuchta, 66, passed away in Florida on December 9th after a courageous battle with several medical issues since 2015. Born in South Hadley, to the late Armand and Hermina (Baczewski) Tracy, she was a 1968 graduate of South Hadley High School and 1970 graduate of Holyoke Community College. Upon graduation from HCC she went to work in the Trust Department of the former Shawmut Bank & Trust. The rest of her 30 year career consisted of various important positions with Old Colony Bank, Bank of Boston and Fleet Bank. Throughout her career Patty was deeply admired both by management and her co-workers, but more importantly was a friend to everyone. She left the working world to tend to the medical needs of her mother and subsequently her mother-in-law. A loving and giving person, she touched many lives while wishing for nothing in return. In 2005 Patty & Gary bid goodbye to the harsh New England winters to enjoy life at Heritage Palms Golf & Country Club in Ft. Myers, while still enjoying the summers in South Hadley. She leaves behind her loving and ever grateful husband of 37 years, Gary. She also leaves her sister, Barbara Palmer and her husband Stanley and niece, Tracy Mascaro of South Hadley along with several great nieces and nephews. She also leaves her brother-in-law, Ronald Kuchta of Chicopee and Jocelyn, Shawn, Spencer and Sawyer Hemingway of Ludlow. Besides her parents, Patty was predeceased by her loving grandmother, Zofia Baczewski, her beautiful niece, Kimberly Palmer and sister-in-law, Janice Kuchta. Calling hours will be on Friday December 16th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St. (Rte. 116). Burial is private. Donations in Patty's memory may be made to, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital PO Box 50 Memphis, TN 38101-9929 or Hope HealthCare Services, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Meyers, FL 33908."
