Szymon "Simon" Tadeusz Sawicki

Szymon "Simon" Tadeusz Sawicki, age 39, passed away on May 4, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Krakow Poland in 1983 and came to the US in 2005. He lived in Chicago where he met and married Eugenia "Jeannie" Koulizakis. After which they moved to Tampa, FL, then Arlington VA, where they launched and worked together on their business ErgoRx. He was a Gracie jiu-jitsu athlete, even achieving the level of black belt. Simon was a dedicated and loving husband and father to his two young sons, helping any way he could with activities at both church and school. He is survived by his wife Jeannie and 2 sons Evangelos "Angelo" age 12 and Leonidas "Leo" age 8. He is also survived by his mother Barbara Sawicka of Poland, brother Christopher Sawicki of Scotland, nephew, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held at St Katherines Greek Orthodox Church in Falls Church VA on May 9, 2023 at 11am, 1030am viewing. Burial services will be private for immediate family only.
