Alice Alma Buehler
August 20th, 1934 - May 2nd, 2006
"Alice A. (Garceau) Buehler, 71, of Flynt St. died May 2 at home. Born in Palmer, August 20, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Edward and Eva (Berthiaume) Garceau and was a lifelong resident. Alice was a communicant of St. Thomas Church and worked for many years at William E. Wright Co. in W. Warren before retiring. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 53 years, Norman J. Buehler, along with her son William of Palmer and daughter Sandra Buehler of Concord, NH. She also leaves a brother Henry “Sonny” Garceau of Ware and a sister Gloria Gilley of Laconia, NH. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Leo and John. Funeral services will be Friday, May 5 at 10:00 a.m. from the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St., followed by a liturgy of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Church. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, May 4 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. For those wishing, donations may be made in her memory to Baystate VNA and Hospice, 50 Maple St., Springfield, 01102. "
