Carlos Roberto Fernandez

Carlos Fernandez January 29, 1968 – February 10, 2024 Carlos lost his battle lung cancer leaving behind his father, four brothers, daughter, granddaughter, and many dear friends. He will be greatly missed by many. Carlos loved connecting with people and his love for others shone through his work, at Best Buns Bread Co. where he was the General Manager and was monumental in creating a community in Shirlington Village. When we think of Carlos, we think of all the things he loved and the impact he made – He was a mentor, community builder, Artisan Baker, whiskey aficionado, world traveler, amateur Psychologist, wine & beer expert, Peanut M&M lover, storyteller, art lover, proud of his culture and being a Guatemalan, gentle soul, lifelong learner, generous hearted, road tripper and loyal friend. He will forever be missed and will live on in our hearts as son, brother, dad, grandpa and C7.
