"Belchertown - Elizabeth “Bette” A. (Rainaud) Dillard, 76, died on May 28, 2010 in Cooley Dickinson Hospital. She was born in Holyoke, MA, daughter of the late Eugene A. and Mae (Pentland) Rainaud. She has been a resident of Belchertown for 40 years, attended Dwight Chapel and was a member of the Tri-Lakes Association. Elizabeth retired from Bank of Boston as a chief commercial loan officer where she worked for over 15 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches, walks at the Quabbin Reservoir and traveling. She treasured most the time spent with her beloved grandchildren and friends. She is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years William F. Dillard. She will be deeply missed by a son Gregory R Dillard and his wife Shirley of Belchertown, a daughter Sharon L. Richardson and her husband Kurt of Greenfield. She will also be missed by three grandchildren Nathan W. Richardson, Chelsea E. Richardson and her fiancé Andrew I. Girard, Alex K. Richardson, a great grandson Hayden W. Girard and many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was preceded in death by three brothers. Funeral Services will be held at Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St. (Rt 202) on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the South Cemetery. A calling hour will precede the service from 10:0-11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Dwight Chapel Building Fund, 885 Federal St., Belchertown, MA 01007 or the Alzheimer’s Association.
