Joseph B. Pouliot
September 15th, 1925 - February 6th, 2006
"Monson- Joseph B. Pouliot, 80, of Grandview Terr. Passed away February 6 at Wing Memorial Hospital. Born September 15, 1925 in Chicopee, MA, he was the son of the late Arthur and Marie (Fortier) Pouliot. Joseph has lived in Monson for the past 36 years and retired from Piquette & Stebbins Company in Chicopee where he was a mason tender. Mr. Pouliot was an avid wood worker and enjoyed making manger scenes for his family. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Loretta (Nevue), and children Ronald of CO, Roger of Agawam, Joseph Jr. of W.Springfield, Dean of Westfield, Carol Nevue of Ludlow, Joan Lakotta of Westfield, Laurie Russell of Ludlow along with 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and dog Toto. He also leaves sisters Bernice Nelson of VA, Marcella Couture of Chicopee and brothers Fernando, Paul, George, Larry and Norman all of Chicopee. Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. "
