Elsie Trimble

Elsie Marie Trimble, 87, died peacefully in her sleep in her apartment at Balfour Lodge in Louisville, CO, where she resided for the past 5 years. Elsie was born on May 9, 1924, in Pittsburgh, PA to Michael and Mary Loew. Her parents, who immigrated to the United States form Europe, met and settled in Pittsburgh where they opened a bakery. Elsie married Richard Lee Trimble in 1943. Elsie is preceded in death by her husband, sister and three brothers. She is survived by a son, Richard Trimble, a daughter, Carol Stover and twin granddaughters, Morgan and Tori, aged 9. Great sources of joy to her in the last years of her life were her granddaughters & the beauty, people and lifestyle of Colorado. Elsie lived in other areas of the U.S. including California for 35 years, Texas, and briefly in New Mexico, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas. She and her husband loved living in London, England for 7 years, and they enjoyed their many vacations throughout the world. Elsie was always interested in art, interior decoration, and she loved animals, especially her dog, Lexi. She will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends in California & Colorado.
