William A. McLaughlin

"Palmer - William A. McLaughlin, 83, previously of N. Main St., passed away on November 9, 2013 at Wingate at Wilbraham. Born November 13, 1929 in Brighton, MA, William honorably served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He lived most of his life in Palmer and worked in the maintenance department at Wing Memorial Hospital for over 30 years. William enjoyed camping at Cape Cod for numerous years at the Bourne Scenic park. In March of 2011, William was predeceased by his wife Irene (Beynor) and is survived by his only daughter, Karen McLaughlin of Belchertown along with his "adopted" brother, Edward Kostreba Sr. of W.Brookfield, MA, many in laws, nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation will be Thursday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home with a Mass at Divine Mercy Parish on Friday at 10:00 a.m. and burial in St. Thomas Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Pioneer Valley Humane Society or Wingate at Wilbraham Activities Dept. For details, visit www.beersandstory.com. "
