Luis M. Medina
August 19th, 1920 - September 4th, 2005
"Chicopee- Luis M. Medina, 85, of 9th Ave. passed away September 4, 2005 at home with his family by his side. Luis was born August 19, 1920 in Aguacate, Cuba, the son of the late Jose and Magdalena (Perez) Medina. He lived in Cuba until 1972, resided in Spain for two years, and has lived in Chicopee since 1974. Luis was an electrician in Cuba and retired from Mastex Industry in Holyoke. He is survived by his loving wife, Elpidia (Diaz), devoted children Luis M. of Tolland, CT, and Maria Luz of Palmer. He also leaves his grandchildren Jonathan and Nicole Luz, and Adam and Alex Medina. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N.Main St., (Rte 20) and burial will follow in Oak Knoll Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. "
