" Mary L. Morgan, 78, of Sunnydale Circle, Brimfield, died August 22, 2005 at Baystate Medical center with her family at her side. Born in Bedford, MA, April 14, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Hannah (Tulley) Osborne. Mary moved to Wilbraham in 1948 where she resided and raised her family until 1984. She then moved to Montgomery, MA and Lady Lake, Florida before settling in Brimfield. Mary was a very gifted singer and sang in the choir of Wilbraham United Church, which she was a member, as well as the choir for St. Cecilia’s Church, also located in Wilbraham. She also sang for the Hartford, Ct radio stations WTIC A Time for Romance program, the Springfield Symphony Choir and performed the lead in many Gilbert and Sullivan operatic plays. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years, editor of the Branch Line monthly newsletter for the Wilbraham UCC, a voice teacher and enjoyed sewing and knitting. Mary was an avid Red Sox and San Francisco 49’s fan. In addition to her parents, her husband Harold D. Morgan predeceased Mary in 2002. She is survived by her four children, Linda Gibson of Philadelphia, PA, Janet Morgan of Wilbraham, Jonathan Morgan and his wife Lisa (Govan) of Simsbury, CT and Heather and her husband Robert Dupuis of Hardwick, MA, her 8 grandchildren, Christopher, Benjamin, Nathan, James, Laura, Brianne, Michelle and Robert. Her sisters Marjorie Beatteay of Concord, MA, Jane Pohas of Hamilton, MA and her brother James Osborne of Deerfield Beach, FL also survive her. Her brothers Lawrence and Robert and her sister Elizabeth also predeceased her. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday August 27th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia’s Church on Main St. in Wilbraham. There is no calling hour and burial is private. Memorial donations may be made in Mary’s memory to The Salvation Army. "
