Keith E. Carpenter
February 9th, 1962 - August 10th, 2005
" Belchertown-Keith E. Carpenter, 43, of Barton Ave. died August 10 at Baystate Medical Center after a short, courageous battle with a rare blood disease. Keith was born February 9, 1962, the son of Bredine Pennington of Springfield. He was proud to be the owner of Mobile Fleet Service for the past 9 years, servicing Connecticut and the local area. Keith, more commonly known as “Captain” and “Unc”, was dedicated to everything he did, his work, his interests, and especially his family. He lived his life to the fullest. Besides his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Christine (DePretto), the amazing father to Carissa, Dayna and Samuel, the brother to his “Sis” Kimberly Duffany of Wilbraham and brother Kevin of Steventown, NY. He also leaves his “Aunties”, Catherine Bussolari of Longmeadow, Susan Majka of Wilbraham, Mary Mathews of Newark, Delaware, Ann Calabrese of W.Springfield, brother-in-law Walter DePretto of Deerfield, in-laws Walter and Geraldine, “ Grandme and Grandpe” of W.Springfield and many nieces and nephews. A service of remembrance will be Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the Belchertown Congregational Church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery in Springfield. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. with a pictorial video tribute at Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home.
